We have the best facilities
Capilclinic is a clinic specialized in hair treatments with state-of-the-art facilities in Spain, with centers in Madrid and Barcelona. Our modern facilities are designed to provide patients with a pleasant and safe environment during their experience at the center.
Benefits of the Min Time FUE method
Our exclusive and revolutionary technique is designed to keep follicles out of the body for the minimum time possible during each procedure, ensuring maximum effectiveness.
01. 100% natural results
Follicle implantation is performed without a defined pattern, following the patient's physiognomy, which guarantees the maximum possible hair density in the transplanted area.
02. Maximum number of follicles
Unlike other techniques, we place the amount of follicles that each patient needs, thus achieving the best results.
03. We take care of the donor area
We extract the follicles optimally so that the donor area is not exposed and visually maintains the same uniformity as always.
04. Hair reinforcement with mesotherapy
The root of the transplanted hair is reinforced with a mesotherapy treatment to improve hair health and obtain greater durability.

The doctor answers frequently asked questions about hair transplants
01. What does the Sapphire FUE technique consist of?
We use sapphire crystals for the opening of micro-channels, which allows for greater precision than classical FUE.
The Sapphire FUE technique (Follicular Unit Extraction) consists of the individual extraction of follicles one by one from the back and sides (donor area) and placing them in the areas each patient needs (recipient area). Currently, it is the most advanced technique.
Hair transplant process with Sapphire FUE technique
Preparation:
We perform a blood test to ensure there are no incompatibilities.
An interview with the doctor and translator to design the operation.
Numbing the area through the administration of local anesthesia.
First Phase:
The first phase of the operation is the extraction of follicles. With the help of a 0.6 mm diameter punch, the follicular units are extracted from the donor area. This phase can last between 3 and 4 hours depending on the needs of each patient. We take a short break of about 20 minutes so the patient can rest and eat.
Second Phase:
The final phase of the hair micro-graft is the placement of the follicles. Holes are made in the recipient area with a 0.6mm punch to achieve the maximum possible density.
In this phase, aspects such as the hairline, implant density, or the direction of implantation must be carefully considered. This phase can last between 3 and 4 hours depending on each patient's needs.
How do I know if I am a good candidate for a hair transplant using the FUE technique?
If you suffer from androgenetic alopecia.
If you suffer from localized hair loss.
If you suffer from small-scale scarring alopecia.
If you want to wear your hair short without a visible linear scar.
If you want to conceal scars or previous transplants.
02. Steps before the hair transplant surgery
Medical study prior to the hair implant
Before undergoing a hair transplant procedure, the CapilClinic medical team conducts a medical study to determine the type of baldness and the best technique to guarantee the success of the operation.
It is during this first visit that the patient's medical record is analyzed, any existing medical conditions are discussed, and the patient's expectations for the future surgery are carefully heard.
Some of the questions you should be prepared for during your first visit with the CapilClinic medical team include:
When did we first notice the hair loss?
If there has been any noteworthy change recently.
If we have previously undergone any medical or surgical treatment to stop hair loss.
What medications and vitamin complexes are we currently taking?
What are our allergies, if we have any?
What do we expect from the hair transplant intervention?
When the surgeon has all the information, it will be time to perform an initial examination to determine the pattern and percentage of follicle loss, the thickness and shape of our hair, the type of hair loss affecting us, and the density and follicular quality of the donor area (the back of the head and the area above the ears).
After that first exam, the intervention will be planned, providing a date and all kinds of details on how it will be carried out, the preoperative period, the day of the surgery, and the postoperative period.
Likewise, a series of indications will be provided that the patient must follow strictly to arrive at the hair follicle transplant in the best possible condition.
What we should keep in mind
Seven days before the intervention, the intake of medications such as aspirin, anti-inflammatories, vitamin complexes with relaxing effects, or any type of pills that could increase bleeding during the transplant must be stopped.
It is important not to cut your hair during the week you are going to undergo the intervention. It is also recommended not to perform physical efforts such as sports in the days leading up to the hair transplant.
Three days before the surgery, we will stop consuming alcohol. If possible, we should also avoid beverages containing caffeine and, if we are smokers, we must abstain from smoking during the hours prior to the operation.
What we can do, if considered necessary, is wash our hair the night before the transplant. However, this must be done with a very mild shampoo, such as those made for babies, or one recommended by the clinic.
For any doubts or inquiries related to the preoperative period or the hair transplant procedure, do not hesitate to contact the clinic staff through any of the contact methods found on this website.
03. Stages of the hair transplant
Before starting the hair transplant
Before beginning the hair transplant in Turkey or Spain, the patient will undergo a blood test to verify that everything is correct. This aims to confirm that the patient does not suffer from Hepatitis B or C or HIV. In such cases, the operation cannot be performed, as per safety regulations.
Once successfully cleared, the recipient area is designed in agreement with the patient, and the number of follicles needed for the transplant is calculated, we proceed to numb the donor area using cold through narcotic ether.
After confirming that the skin has lost sensitivity, local anesthesia will be administered through a process that causes minimal discomfort. The effects of the anesthesia will last around 12 hours.
Once under the effect of the anesthesia, the first grafts will be placed. To mark the first recipient line, single-hair follicle grafts will be used.
Depending on the number of follicles to be grafted, the duration of the intervention will vary. First, the grafts are extracted. For extraction, the patient will be placed either face down or on their side. Subsequently, once all necessary follicles are removed, the patient will be semi-seated to proceed with the placement of the grafts. In total, this entire process will last between 5 and 7 hours.
Stages
The first stage involves extracting follicles from the donor area with a 0.8 mm motorized punch for double or triple grafts. Following these are the individual grafts, which are extracted with a slightly finer motorized punch, in this case, 0.6 and 0.7 mm.
During this entire process, a team member is responsible for counting and organizing the follicles, separating them into individual, double, or triple grafts. The extraction and counting end at the same time.
After a break to regain strength, the opening of channels in the recipient area continues. This phase requires extreme skill and extensive experience, as much of the success of the operation depends on it being performed correctly.
Incisions are made using custom-made blades with diameters smaller than the size of the grafts. The grafts will be locked into the incisions, ensuring they make contact with their beds, as this is the only way they can survive. If there is hair in the recipient area, it will be respected, working carefully around it so as not to damage healthy follicles.
Grafting will be carried out respecting the direction of growth in the determined area, using microsurgery techniques and instruments until the number of grafts that guarantees a fully populated recipient area is completed.
The goal is for 100% of the transplanted grafts to survive. This will be verified in the various postoperative check-ups scheduled once the intervention is finished.
04. Post-operative instructions
First week
To ensure that the hair transplant with FUE in Turkey or Spain lasts a lifetime, the patient will be informed in detail, receiving all instructions and procedures to follow.
During the first three days, the patient must wear a bandage on the donor area. The recipient area will be left uncovered. Nothing must touch the transplanted grafts during the first 24 hours after surgery.
This is why the first night you must sleep on your back, with your head slightly elevated by pillows, and without any recipient area contacting anything.
The day after the intervention, the bandage on the donor area will be removed. This area will not require any special care as, by the time the bandage is removed, it will have already healed.
At that same time, the medical team will provide the necessary medications and lotions to begin the postoperative period. If any discomfort is felt, analgesics can be taken every 8 hours. These will be provided by the clinic.
Some patients experience swelling around the eyes, which reduces and disappears on its own within two or three days.
This is why, after being reviewed by the surgeon, the patient can return to their country just 24 hours after the operation. At this point, they can return to work and perform their usual tasks.
However, it is not recommended to resume sexual activity until 48 hours after the operation, nor to resume physical exercise until one month after the hair transplant surgery.
From the third day onwards, you can wash your hair for the first time. It is crucial to prevent scabs from appearing around the transplanted hairs during the first ten days after the intervention, as these adhere to the follicle shaft, increasing the chances of the new hair falling out during that first week.
Hair washing will be done in two steps, taking about an hour to complete. The first 45 minutes will be dedicated to applying the hydrating and softening lotion to the grafted area and waiting for it to penetrate the scalp.
After these 45 minutes, we will apply the neutral shampoo recommended by the doctors without removing the hydrating lotion. To rinse the shampoo, we will use lukewarm water and very low water pressure.
This process should continue for the first week after the operation and should be performed at least once a day and never more than twice.
From the fifth day after the intervention, you can start massaging the recipient area very gently with your fingertips each time you apply shampoo to the scalp. From day six to ten, we will very gradually increase the pressure of the massage while applying the shampoo.
The first doses of hydrating lotion (Bepanthol lotion or Excipial hydro lotion) and neutral shampoo (Sebamed shampoo or baby shampoo) will be delivered to you by the medical team.
Final phase of the hair transplant
Once the first week after the operation has passed, the scabs should have fallen off and clots disappeared from the scalp. However, if any remain, do not remove them by force; wait for them to fall off on their own.
When the recipient area is in good condition, generally at the beginning of the second postoperative week, you can start using a normal shampoo. From that moment on, no one will notice you have undergone a hair transplant.
Finally, remember that during the first month, you must not expose your scalp to the sun or high temperatures, so avoid staying outdoors longer than necessary.
